camping in the freezer
We had another beautiful campsite, this time looking out over the water. Here you can see chunks of ice that have floated over from the glacier. You can see it better in the bigger picture here.
The bugs were bad when we arrived, but once it started raining, they weren't a problem anymore. We snuggled up in our tents and rested for much of the base camp day. It was cold! I broke out my down jacket.
